We’re Gab and Anna, lifelong dog lovers and the founders of Amico Mio (“my friend” in Italian).

Our story started during three transformative years of dog sitting, where we met too many pups battling allergies, picky appetites, sensitive stomachs, and various illnesses that impacted what they could eat. Time and again, we saw treats filled with unpronounceable ingredients and mystery additives—so we knew there had to be a better way.

Amico Mio was born from a simple truth: dogs deserve real food. We craft treats using ethically sourced game meats like buffalo and possum, paired with 100% Australian ingredients you can trust. Every item on our ingredient list has a purpose—no artificial additives, preservatives, or fillers. Period.

We work hand-in-paw with local l suppliers to secure the finest game meats and produce, ensuring every treat meets our non-negotiable standards for quality and transparency. From our Sydney kitchen to your home, each small batch is handcrafted with care, using wholesome, single-ingredient recipes that keep tails wagging and minds (+ tummies) at ease.
